- Perform regular preventive maintenance on packing machines, refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, making necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Replace or repair worn or defective parts using hand tools and precision instruments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure efficient operation and product quality.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of packing machines and work areas.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical components are always available.
- Coordinate with suppliers for the timely procurement of replacement parts and maintenance supplies.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Generate reports on machine performance, downtime, and maintenance activities for management review.
Preferred candidate profile
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong Knowledge in the maintenance and repair of various machineries and equipment like packing machines , refrigeration machinery or similar industrial machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
