1. Design, develop, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for robotic perception, object detection, tracking, and recognition.
2. Integrate vision systems with robotic platforms to enable autonomous navigation, manipulation, and decision-making.
3. Develop machine learning models for tasks such as object classification, pose estimation, and scene understanding.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet project goals and objectives.
5. Conduct research and experimentation to evaluate the performance of vision algorithms and robotic systems in real-world environments.
6. Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and efficiency on embedded hardware platforms.
7. Develop software tools and frameworks for data collection, annotation, and analysis to support vision and robotics research and development
8. Stay current with the latest advancements in computer vision, robotics, and artificial intelligence research and technologies.
9. Contribute to patent filings, technical documentation, and research publications.
10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Requirements: ? Exposure to Machine Vision, industrial / factory automation applications, Familiarity to PLCUnderstanding the customer requirements and visit customer site to prove the applications.Experience with vision systems from reputed brands like Omron ,cognex, keyence,Basler etc ? Some experience in Robot vision like OMRON ,Fanuc, ABB, Kuka etc is an added advantage ? Some PLC Programming experience using OMRON, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc ? Expertise in their vision tools and programming ? Knowledge about lighting for machine vision and light effects ? Camera selection, camera adjustments, Lens selection ? Knowledge and experience in proving various vision applications ? Vision applications for robotics applications ? Good documentation, presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills ? Ability to handle challenging customer situations ? Good analytical and problem-solving skills ? Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial automation systems. ? Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment Ability to travel up to 35 to 40% of the time, occasionally on short notice through out Tamil Nadu /Bangalore
