We are an instructional design firm that partners with US, Canadian and global universities, and EdTech companies to develop and deliver their online course curriculum creatively, effectively, and affordably. Roles and Responsibilities

HR duties - (60%)

• Be responsible for all HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, mentoring, salary and conditions, contracts, training and development, talent management, driving performance appraisals and any other HR related issues)
• Act as a central point of reference for internal and external queries, ensuring that messages are recorded and reported on in a timely manner, including contact with staff and managers
• Responsible for Statutory compliances and accounting of PF, ESI, Insurance policies, Gratuity, Medical cover for the employees, etc
• Handling Time Office and maintenance of attendance & leave records
• Ensure all HR processes are as per ISO standards
• Attendance Management
• Payroll/Expense Management
• Update the company server with timely, relevant forms, policies, and procedures to always ensure accessibility for employees.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Payroll Management (10%)

• Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third party payments)
• Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
• Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
• Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
• Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
• Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions

Office administration duties- (20%)

• Coordinate between the building facility management team and our operations team for the smooth functioning of the Office.
• Maintain and track of all company assets that are allocated to employees and keep safe custody of all the unallocated and returned assets.
• Keep a track of all inward and outward movement of posts, couriers, assets, and other items.
• Interact with internal and external (vendors etc.) stakeholders, answering questions, and resolving issues.
• Coordinate with the vendors and get the project requirements fulfilled within the deadline.
• Other duties as assigned by Management from time to time

Talent Acquisition duties (10%)

• Create strong fundamentals and metrics to manage end to end recruitment process from demand management to sourcing, reviewing, interviewing, offer management and finally on boarding process
• Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Coordinate with the TA Manager for the recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, website advertising, updating of the company resource plan, selection of CVs, attending interviews and selecting candidates
• Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs
• Ensure proper onboarding and training for new hires

Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA in Human Resource Management or related field
• 3+ years of experience working in an HR role
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
• Good written and spoken English and presentation skills
• Experience and ability to use MS Office word, excel and power-point, outlook, etc
• Ability to prioritize own workload and work to tight time scales & deadlines
• Ability to work with and engage staff at all levels within the organization
• Able to remain positive and constructive under pressure
• Ability to use own initiative and make decisions within sphere of work and knowledge
• Flexible to travel around to different locations on an occasional basis
