About the Job - Highly experienced Functional Business Analyst with a deep understanding of the trading domain to join our growing team. A pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, specifically focusing on order and trade management systems for various asset classes. This job will require to collaborate with stakeholders across the trading floor, development teams, testing team and risk management to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of these critical systems.
Job Title - Business Analyst (Trading Domain)
Location - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai
Educational Background - B. Tech and MBA (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities - Partner with business stakeholders (traders, portfolio managers, risk managers) to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements for order and trade management systems.
Strong experience in IT consulting and business analysis business process definition, business process consulting, requirements gathering, Functional designs and specifications, product solution design, proficiency in writing complex BRD, FSD, Product design and product roadmap.
Work closely with developers and testers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and participate in system rollouts to ensure smooth adoption by business users.
Identify and document process improvement opportunities related to order and trade management workflows.
Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal risk controls.
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in trading technology.
Maintain strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of relevant trading platforms and technologies.
Create and manage backlogs, Create Epic, User stories, Prioritization, and preparation/readiness for project Increment Planning.
Solid experience in Scrum Agile development or Scaled Agile Framework, Jira experience required.
Skills Required - Possess in-depth knowledge of order types, trade lifecycles, and regulatory considerations for the following asset classes:
Equity
Fixed Income
Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETDs)
Over the Counter (OTC) Derivatives
Hedge Funds
Great understanding of exchanges CME, COMEX, CBOT, NYMEX.
Additional Requirements - Strong understanding of order and trade management processes for equity, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, OTC derivatives, hedge funds, and risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with business process modelling tools (e.g., BPMN).
Hands-on experience working with SQL.
